Purchase the 1986 Halley's Comet over the Sonoran Desert Limited Edition Print.

This print is available in two sizes. The small print has an 8"x 10" image. The large print image is 16 x 20". They are on cream colored 25 lb stock paper. Both sizes have a border that allows for a beautiful mounting/matting and framing job without having to crop the image. The photographer, Bruce Northey, signs each print with gold ink.

As I was growing up in the 1950's, much talk about the return of Halley's in 1986 intensified my feeling that its appearance was an event not to be missed. In the early 70's a number of my high school friends in Southern Arizona made plans to have a grand desert party to celebrate this milestone and to rekindle old friendships. When the date arrived, I was the only one to show up on that fateful night, as many of my school chums had moved away or found themselves too occupied with their busy lives to make the journey. But I was on a mission. Using a borrowed camera, I set out to capture on film this moment in cosmic history.
